Articles created to solely discuss or display theories are disallowed from the wiki. Otherwise, please do not add information to the wiki if it has not been properly cited, screenshotted, or archived, or portrayed in an episode.
- Please do not add info to the wiki if it has not been confirmed. Exceptions to this includes information that could be veridical with provided evidence. However, it must be phrased as a speculation, rather than as an utter verity. The first offense will lead to a warning. If this continues, the offender will be banned from the wiki.
- Profanity in general is permitted. However, swears directed at others, such as "Go fuck yourself, you bastard!", are clearly meant to insult, and therefore are disallowed. Stating the identical profanity phrase multiple times in one sitting may also be a form of spamming, which is also disallowed. Read the spamming policy to fully comprehend what spamming is. This all applies to the server as well.
- Playful insults are permitted, as long as the user it is directed at acknowledges that it is intended to be a joke.Playful insults are permitted, as long as the user the language is directed at knows about the playful intentions. It is recommended you utilize tone tags such as "/lh", "/s", "/jk", and related if this is the case.
- Please do not utilize other rude language such as "shut up" in a serious manner. It is recommended that if you're being playful to utilize tone tags or other signifiers to indicate this.
- Please do not utilize racial or ethnic slurs, LGBT-related slurs, overtly ableist slurs such as "retard," "spastic"/"spaz," "midget," or "cripple" (or utilize of clinical disorders or conditions as an insult), etc. in any context. This also applies to those who are apart of the group the slur is directed toward and different variations/spellings (e.g.: fucktard, n*gga).
- In reference to certain concepts or character descriptions (in comments or other discussions), words such as "dumb"/"stupid"/"moronic"/"imbecilic", "crazy"/"insane"/"mad"/"loony"/"batty"/"deranged"/"delusional", and (as long as it is only used to refer to personality traits) "freak"/"freakish"/"freaky" are permitted to be used. Words such as "psycho"/"psychotic" and "demented", however, must only be used in a clinical sense or as a direct quote.
- All users are expected to be respectful of one another. This indicates that in server, on articles, in edit summaries, in forums, in comments, and on talk pages, you, the user, are expected to treat every user with respect, regardless of your personal feelings towards them. Hate speech (one that attacks a person and/or group based on their race, religious beliefs, sex, a disability they may have or one's sexual orientation) is also not tolerated, and if one persists such behavior after warnings, will result in a block from the wiki and/or ban from the server.

If You Are Blocked or Banned[]
- If you have been banned or blocked here, you may appeal it utilizing your own or an admin's message wall. If you are unable to do so, you may contact any admin utilizing their wall on Community Central Wiki.
- If you are blocked or banned here, it is NOT appropriate to follow any admin to another wiki to complain. This will result in an extension of the block or ban here, and likely a block on the wiki in question.
- If you are blocked on another wiki, it is NOT appropriate to follow an admin here to complain.
Your Message Wall[]
- Please do not remove, or otherwise attempt to obscure, anything that others post on your message wall. Exceptions to this are vandalism, harassment, defamation, private matters and personal information (at an admin's discretion), or any message that violates the policies. In any of these cases, you may either remove the message yourself or request that an admin to remove it for you.
Arguing With An Admin[]
- If you attempt to insult, or otherwise argue with a sysop, you will be banned from the wiki, or if you are already banned, your ban will be extended. Please attempt to handle things in a civil, and mature manner, regardless if the argument is with a sysop, or a user in order to get positive results in what you're attempting to accomplish. Constructive criticism against an admin is permitted, but it must be constructive in nature, not destructive.
- An admin is permitted to block you from the wiki if you have engaged with them in personal and unresolved disturbances and the admin believes that you will not utilize this wiki in good faith or without bringing up personal affairs.
Arguing With A User[]
- If an argument occurs, and an admin is required to become involved, the assigned admin(s) will not display favoritism, or otherwise "choose sides", without hearing both complete sides of the story. If it results in one user being more virtuous than the other(s), the user(s) who are deemed felonious will suffer consequences as severe as the offense was, no more or no less. If both, or all of the users participating in the argument are equally illicit, both/all of the users will be punished.
Manual of Style[]
- Articles must be written in the NPOV (neutral point of view) format as adopted by Wikipedia. Only objective facts about a subject must be stated, and sentences should not be read as containing bias by the author. Read this article for more information.
- Articles should attempt to refrain from utilizing "we"/"us"/"our" language in a meta sense and instead remain as neutral as possible when it concerns meta references. (e.g.: "All that is known" vs "All we know.")
- The language utilized on official articles should be as formal as possible.
- All articles must contain information that is simply observable within an episode, interview, or statement from the official Grimmverse crew. All information that is not observed in an episode must contain a link to the website or post where the information has been provided. This includes unconfirmed genders, pronouns, and names. Information must not originate from the editor's own personal perspective or other fan-based interpretations as this is a wiki for official content only. Any attempt to force an unofficial viewpoint into an article will not be tolerated and will be dealt with appropriately. See more information here.
- All spellings and language utilized outside of direct quotes on this wiki must be in American English.
- Newly created articles must follow this structure: They must have a detailed description of the article's subject (2+ long, descriptive sentences (e.g.: "Roger Grimdark is the protagonist and namesake of Cretaceous Love. He is an anthropomorphic velociraptor mongoliensis who is the brother of Dominick Gomez and romantic partner of Beckham Shepherd."), 1 article section (e.g.: Appearance, Personality, Role in the series, Trivia, etc.), an infobox, and, optionally, an image), no meta references (i.e.: referring to the wiki or its readers/contributors, including "What else do you want?" or other taunting phrases), and must utilize understandable grammar in order to qualify as a stub. Articles that are considered too short to be considered a stub will be deleted on sight. Continuation of the creation of non-qualifying articles may result in a ban from the wiki depending on the amount of times this has occurred.
Sockpuppetting[]
- Sockpuppetting is the creation and/or utilize of an additional account to circumvent a block or chat ban. Sockpuppeting is not permitted on this wiki. The second account will be blocked infinitely, and the original account's block or ban will be extended at moderator discretion.
- You may, however, create another account for yourself if utilized for other purposes, such as losing your password on your original account, wishing for another username change, or simply wishing to begin anew. Another exception are approved and officiated bot accounts for the purposes of performing manual tasks. Usage of bot accounts for this Grimmverse Wiki must be approved by an admin before being utilized, unless you are an official FANDOM staff member or helper.
Discord Server Policies[]
Harassment[]
- Do not force users to do anything, such as clicking on a certain link if they don't want to. It is considered harassment/peer pressure, and it will not be tolerated.
- Do not insult a user personally, or attempt to blackmail them into (performing) something.
Inappropriate Links[]
- Do not link anything that includes any of the following:
- Insults/slander.
- No full-bodied nudity, real-life genitalia, overtly fetishistic content, or pornography.
- Real-life gore, viscera, extreme physical violence.
- Bodily fluids, including but not limited to: feces, urine, vomit, nasal mucus, semen/genital fluid, pus.
- Anything that is reasonably inappropriate, as determined by server moderators.
Spamming[]
- Spamming is not permitted in server. "Spamming" is a subjective term and what constitutes spam will be decided on a case-by-case basis at moderator discretion. Spam includes things like posting song lyrics line by line, ASCII art, abusing emoticons, and repeating the same string repeatedly.
- Claiming your actions are not "spam" is not a defense against spamming, and will likely get you banned, or your ban extended.
Advertising[]
- Do not utilize the server to solicit edits or visits to other sites. This includes another Wikia you may be involved with, or an outside server or site. This does not indicate you can never link to these kinds of sites, only that it is inappropriate to repeatedly advertise other sites, or to repeatedly request that people come to "your" wiki, server, or website. This policy also applies to blog posts.
- If you join our server just for this purpose, you will be kicked and/or blocked.
Trolling[]
- If you "troll" (someone who says things for attention/negative reactions), you will be warned. If done after being warned, you will be banned from the server for a week. If continued, it will lead to a permanent ban.
Mini-Modding[]
- Please do not mini-mod, meaning acting like an administrator/moderator when you are not one. Examples of mini-modding would be: "Please don't spam, Don't talk about another project besides R.D.'s, etc.." Please, retain it to the administrators/moderators. It is their occupation to protect the server, after all. However, if all the administrators and moderators are away or if they appear to not be watching server, it is perfectly acceptable to alert them when a delinquent is online. If persisted, however, after the first warning, you will receive a 3 day ban. If continued enough, you will be banned forever.
Kicking[]
- Being "kicked" from server indicates you are removed from server, and may come back immediately.
- The server uses kicks as a form of warning.
- If you are kicked from the server, you may return, and a mod will explain why you were kicked.
- It is NOT appropriate to argue about being kicked. This will almost always result in an actual ban from server.
- Kicks may be given after warnings, or may be given in place of a verbal warning, at moderator discretion.
Banning[]
- Being "banned" from server indicates you are removed from server and may not return for a specified period of time.
- Bans range in length from three days to infinite.
- Bans will usually come after a kick has been given and ignored. However, bans may be given after an ignored warning, or without a verbal warning, at moderator discretion.
Blocking[]
- Violations of these policies will result in warnings, and, when necessary, blocks. The length of a block will vary, and depends on the severity of the offense, any previous bad behavior, and the blocking mod's discretion.
- Severe offenses may not get warnings, but skip straight to blocks. This is to be decided at admin discretion.
